Gaza’s fearless voice silenced

Prominent Palestinian journalist Anas al-Sharif has been martyred in brutal Israeli aggression against voices that tell the truth about its ongoing genocide.

In the early hours of Monday, Israeli occupation forces carried out a targeted attack on a media tent outside Al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza City, killing a number of journalists, including Al-Sharif. 

Following the news of his martyrdom, impressive footage surfaced online showing him and his daughter saying that they would not leave Gaza. 

In a final message, written on April 6, to be published in the event of his martyrdom, al-Sharif said he “lived the pain in all its details” and “tasted grief and loss repeatedly.”
